Build

Custom Software and Web Application Development

Business platforms, portals, dashboards, and APIs shaped around the way your teams already work.

The problem it solves

Off-the-shelf tools cover the common case and then stop. Teams end up re-keying data, exporting spreadsheets, and maintaining a process the software was never built for. A custom application is justified when the workflow is the business, and a template would bend the business to fit the tool.

What’s included

  • Discovery of the users, roles, and the job the system has to do
  • Information architecture and interface design for the primary flows
  • Web application development, including admin and customer-facing areas
  • Role-based access and an audit of sensitive actions
  • REST or similar APIs for the integrations you actually need
  • Multi-tenant structure when more than one customer shares the platform
  • Reporting dashboards your operators can trust
  • Staging, testing, deployment, and a written handover

Key benefits

A system that matches the work

Screens follow the process your staff described, including the exceptions, not a generic demo path.

One place for the data

Integrations replace the copy-and-paste steps between the tools you already pay for.

Room to add the next module

The architecture is documented so a later release does not require a rewrite.

You own the result

Code, accounts, and documentation transfer to you when the scope is paid.

Technologies used

The exact stack is chosen for the project. See the full list.

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Next.js
  • Node.js
  • Laravel
  • PHP
  • .NET
  • PostgreSQL
  • MySQL

How this engagement runs

  1. 01Map the workflowWe sit with the people who do the work and write down roles, states, and exceptions.
  2. 02Prove the core pathA prototype of the main job is reviewed before the full build.
  3. 03Build in releasesYou use staging early. Each release has a short list of what changed.
  4. 04Hand overAdmin training, deployment notes, and repository access move to your team.

Service questions

When is custom software the wrong choice?

When a well-known product already fits and the gaps are small. We will say so. Custom work pays off when the process is specific, the licensing of a suite is higher than a focused build, or you need to own the workflow.

Can you extend a system we already have?

Yes. A large share of this work is a portal, module, or integration on top of an existing platform, not a replacement of everything.

How do you handle multi-tenant products?

Tenant isolation, roles, and billing boundaries are designed before the first customer is loaded. We document how a new tenant is created so you are not doing it in the database.
